Home of Jeff Wilcox, author of Rose Prophecy
31 July 2007 - As some of you may know, my first novel, Rose Prophecy, was published by iUniverse. It's a pretty exciting event, despite it being a year ago. I've finally gotten around to getting myself some webspace and uploading a website. I would like to once more thank everyone who had a hand in this project, which ran from April of 2004 until December 2006 and spanned several countries and the Atlantic Ocean. Literally.
I'll be starting my sixth semester at Shippensburg University this January (2008), and I will continue to write and improve upon the skills I've learned since starting my writing career. I have a new project in the works (see Other Projects for more on that). I am currently about 50% done with the first manuscript. So far, no major setbacks, which is good.
I have a few other projects in the works, as well. My science-fiction novel, tentatively called "Steel Angel" is on the back burner as usual; that might be a project for in between the end of the trilogy about Zane (The Warlord's Sons) and the beginning of Into Eternity (for those of you in the know, change that to "Into Eternity... again"). My poetry portfolio has grown since last year due to a semester spent in a poetry class. It was rather educational and forced me to try out new venues. Sometime or another, I may publish (or more likely, just post online) some of the fruits of that endeavor. My third project (one that sometimes keeps me away from TWS/Zane's Story) is an old-style RPG game made using RPGMaker. It's kind of a parody on a bunch of characters my friends and I have played in various games, most notably Dungeons & Dragons (check that out here: Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro).
